Problem Statement

How can we make recording and tracking nutrition less confusing and more fun in order to motivate users to keep track long term?

Nutrition, specifically whether or not our bodies are obtaining the necessary nourishment, can be a daunting topic. People often do not keep track of what they eat and/or have a limited knowledge of the food pyramid and how this translates into daily consumption. This can be especially difficult for those that are considering switching diets since they would have to synthesize information from different sources to overcome this knowledge barrier and apply that to strict meal plans, such as those provided in colleges.
